Meet the team

Dr Thia graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh in 2021. With a strong interest in exotic animals and wildlife, she worked at various practices in Singapore and Hong Kong, and was exposed to a wide caseload spanning companion mammals to reptiles, birds and even the occasional amphibians.

To improve her knowledge and skill set in various aspects of veterinary medicine, she completed the VIN Virtual Veterinary Internship programme in 2023, and obtained her certificate in Exotic Animal Practice in 2025. She is also in the midst of completing her certification in acupuncture with Chi University to offer alternative treatment options for her patients. On her days off, she loves a good game of mahjong and trying out any physical activity. She is also an avid traveller who loves to see different parts of the world. She is currently owned by 2 senior cats who love to laze around and eat.
